As the sun sets over the dusty town of California, Alejandro Murrieta, aka Zorro, finds himself at a crossroads. Alejandro's wife Elena has grown tired of his constant absence and lack of attention, filing for divorce and evicting him from their home. Devastated by the turn of events, Alejandro is forced to reevaluate his priorities and confront the emptiness that has been building within him. Meanwhile, a new villain emerges in the form of Don Diego de la Vega, a cunning and ruthless aristocrat who seeks to exploit California's land grants for his own gain.
